I'd say buy the cheaper one. You can't listen to compare
anyway and the cheaper one has a cutaway and a pickup.

There are resonator guitars built with and called
"square necks" meant to be played lapstyle ONLY,
'cause the neck is too big to grip. Both shown in your
links seem to have regular guitar necks, playable
both ways.

Don't the cover plates look identical on both guitars?

Good luck.

I play an Ozark Steel Bodied Biscuit Resonator model, and use a glass slide.
I also play slide on a non reso,ie a 'normal' guitar,an Ovation, which sounds
better if I use a metal slide. Its all down to what YOU want and how you
want it to sound,I reckon! The Ozark model goes for around £350 in the UK.
