Song Help Request help with "cruel to be kind"

hi! i'm working on nick lowe's "cruel to be kind". i'm wondering how and if i can incorporate the solo (below). i'm playing by myself and if i just play the solo i think it might not come off very good. any ideas on how i can make it sound good? or somehow work in the solo and the chorus at the same time?
