This song is an old Hawaiian story that speaks about a brother and a sister, and the sister was kidnapped by dis giant Puhi.
So the brother goes out to all da sea creatures in da ocean an ask dem fo help.
He goes to da Opae, an the Opae says, cuz, cannot help you, I too small!
He goes to da Pupu shell, and da Pupu shell says, cuz I cannot, I too small too.
He goes to da Kupehe, an alluvasudden he comes to de Opihi.
De Opihi says, Shoot cuz, can handle, I'ma crawl up da backa da Puhi's head, pau out his eyes. Den you just go inside dere cuz, and hamo ur sista.

Atleast thats my kanaka teremonology of da song. You guys can't relate dat, but I really dig it.
Song goes like dis."

This song can be found at Huapala, a site for Hawaiian lyrics and here is the link. Opae E was written by Pilahi Paki and the music by Irmgard `Âluli and has been performed by numerous artists in Hawai'i.
