So I have a few weeks old red hibiscus fluke. A friend and I have been discussing getting some sort of rocket ship design on the soundboard. I wanna know what's the best way to tackle this project

I've heard of people already ordering custom made ukes from the Fluke company but I have no idea how that works, some knowledge about the process would be greatly appreciated :D

I used the water slide decal... bought few sheets off ebay, printed the graphic on the HP printer, and used as little water as possible to put it on. I was concerned about the water damaging the wood, but it turned out okay.

I'm not sure how it would look on a darker red background though... Good luck.

Oh that's one wicked Flea! so my understanding of these decals is that they're sort of like temporary tattoos kids love to use right? Did you add some extra finish to your decal to protect it? I just don't want to accidentally scratch it off.

I think where PaulGeo put it is the safest place on a uke. Nothing touches the area under the strings.
