I have had my guitar a week, and looking for that first easy song that I can play on guitar, got a bunch of chords I can play EM, C, DM, D, G,
thanks
thanks
I'm also new to guitar, about 2 1/2 months. I just started playing the easy ukulele chords of songs I like. I did avoid songs in the key of F at the beginning or transposed them to G, D, A, or E. It's worked for me that way. If using one of the Daily Ukulele books, less chords sure worked better for me but I'm now doing them the way they're written. (only ones I already know how to play on the uke)

Four of those chords you've learnt can be arranged to form the chord progression G D Em C (aka I-V-vi-IV), which is one of the most relied upon in popular music.
