Hey, Rob--I am just checking in to make sure that you know that the Dawgs are heading to Noblesville again on Friday, Feb. 24! Same place, Noble Coffee and Tea, 933 Logan Street, 7 PM. Sadly, there will be no party this time as I have to work in the morning BuT-- We'd love to see you!
Hey Rob. Yes, sometimes when I switch from the G major to the E minor chord, I just put the pinky on the on the 4th fret for the C string and leave the other fingers in place. This way, you barely have to move. I don't always do this because my pinky doesn't like to work that hard, but I find that having more than one way to hold a chord reduces fatigue. Yes, if you take a major chord, say the tonic chord of any major key, and then move the 5th up a whole tone (2 frets), you will have the minor chord which is the vi chord of that major key. Now, really, should I have a music theory corner and answer FAQs?
Happy Birthday..Rob Have a Great Day..
Hope you have a great Birthday!
All the best mate
