About Low-G
Biography:
Played the banjo in a trad band in the 60's, so I'm getting on a bit. Gradually acquired more fretted instruments, but found buying them easier than playing them properly.
Got interested in renaissance lute music, but it's not an instrument just to pick up and strum.
Now have a lowG tenor uke, and starting to write arrangements of Renaissance music for it. (There are lots of these available on line or in books, but most are for the re-entrant tuning and I want to get a bass line in too.)
New instrument: Baton Rouge V2-T8 8-string tenor
Location:
Wales
Interests:
Apart from music: visual arts, natural history and gardening.
Occupation:
Retired scientist
