I got the Lanikai LU-21p, and it's been good to me so far. I have a feeling that I will be investing in a nicer Ukulele eventually, but for now this one was more in my price range. What uke do you own? I would actually love the song sheet for Wimoweh, sounds like a fun song to play because most people are familiar with it.
The boot camp has actually been fun. Since I'm really new to the instrument yet, most of the chords challenge me at first but then I feel really productive when I can play through an entire sheet without struggling. Yesterday I had to stop playing because my fingers were hurting so badly that I couldn't even type on my keyboard once I was done. I feel like I passed some sort of a milestone.
How often do you have your lessons?
When did you first start playing the Ukulele? I love it so far! I'm not taking lessons, just trying to figure this out on my own right now, I'm going the Ukulele Boot Camp method. I haven't really learned much more than a few chords, but today was the first day where my transitions between chords started to feel really fluid and natural.
I will have to try getting my fingers closer to the frets! That might be my problem, although I haven't noticed it nearly as often on my new ukulele (which came in the mail this afternoon and I haven't been able to put it down since).
