Gibson ukulele article

Looking forward to checking it out. Is there a way to access it online, or do I need to buy the issue? I couldn't seem to find anything online.
 
I wasn't able to find the article online either. I purchased the issue from my local Barnes and Noble.

I purchased this from the Fretboard Journal site. I just received my copy in the mail.

It is a fascinating article and helps to clarify some issues. At the same time, while Martin history is fairly well documented, it seems that Gibson's information rather scattered and the details of their builds are rather hard to pin down.

The relative rarity of these certainly makes their instruments even more special. They are great playing, well built instruments that hold their own with any out there.
 
Wish we could get this magazine on the shelves here in England
 
I didn't even know that Gibson was also riding the uke train back then. Looks like the 1928 to 1942 catalogs have a few models.
