What a gorgeous uke!
My guitar hasn't seen the light of day in about 4 years.:)
You might want to try Fremont Blackline MT on your KoAloha. Really liked the sound on my previous KoAloha concert.
Gorgeous MB, Gary. If it was a concert, would have to join in on the bidding. The sale seems to be progressing well. Someone is going to be a very lucky MB owner!
Congrats, Andrew! The Anakoneke Mango concert is beautiful too. . .;)
Beautiful uke. Welcome to UU.
Wow! Amazing looking wood combo. Love the rosette too.
Nice addition. I love it!
Changed keys on a 2011 Kamaka concert to UPT's. Big difference. Gotoh UPT's are so nice!
Very nice! Enjoyed it.
Agree HMS is great to deal with. Andrew picked out a gorgeous curly koa KoAloha for me that he had in stock.
When I ordered my cedar top Ohta San from him, he patiently waited for payment while I...
Beautiful uke at a nice price! Congrats, Zach!
If cost is not a major factor, definitely the Kanile'a.
My Ohta San has a deep rich tone. It sounds better than some tenors and is designed for fingerpicking. My Kamaka concert has the traditional concert sound and playability. Tough choice. Depends...
Like the variety and choice of more than one nice uke. Could probably be happy with just one of any of my present ukes.
Beautiful Martin uke! Congrats!
Congrats Craig! Beautiful and elegant!
My almost 5 year of uke buying took a little different course. Started out with lower end ukes to test for size, type of wood etc. that I would prefer or feel comfortable with. After 6 months got...
Cedar sounds warmer but overall spruce sounds better.
www.alohau.com. NC Ukulele Academy has one. I have seen it in the shop. Looks pretty nice.
Congrats. It's a beauty! So nice that you were able to take time and spend time with it before deciding.
Six seems to be a good maximum number for me too.
Have had 3 KoAlohas. All sounded great with the distinctive KoAloha sound. My present concert KoAloha is a 2013. It has the modern tie on bridge and is curly koa, a rarity for KoAloha ukes.
If I buy one, sell one. Keep upgrading and have a really nice collection now. Love the K brands. They each have their own unique qualities.
Beautiful. Love this haunting melody and you played it well. Used to play it on mandolin.
What a nice uke and what a great price! Good luck with the sale.
