These Guardian cases are real nice, with plush green lining. I got one in a trade, and it's the best I've seen.

Yes, you either like that or you don't. It feels a bit weird the first time on a flush board uke. I believe that Bruko sopranos have flush fingerboards. Also, early Favilla from 1910s-20's. Yes,...

Martin nuts are usually about 36mm, Kiwaya and Famous about 37mm, and I believe that Islander are a full 1.5", or 38mm. A wide nut really helps on soprano, IMO.

I just found out that our local public library lends out ukes, just like books. Maybe your does too, and you could spend time with a soprano without incurring the expense?

Yes, that's a sweet looking koa Timms. Too bad about that top distortion, looks like bellying, like an old guitar. I always though that low humidity, paired with many years of string tension caused...

    Grain pop

No affiliation, saw this on Twitter. It must be fun for builders to see a wonderful grain pop like this when the finish is applied. It would be tough to let that uke go!

The GuitarTuna app on Android works well, with a uke setting, does +/- cents too. As others have stated, phone is not as accurate as a clip-on when there is other noise in the background.
