Hi everyone. My name is Rob and about a month ago i purchased a tenor Cordoba uke and haven't been able to put it down since. To add to it once i found out there are 4 types of ukes and it was my bday i was able to talk to wife into getting me the other 3 sizes (i picked the models of course smile).
So far i have been having an awesome time learning the instrument. i come from a 20 year guitar background so i pickup most of the lessons from youtube (man i wish youtube was around 20 years ago! listening to cassette tape parts over and over again used to drive me crazy lol).

Some clips i have done in the 3 weeks i have been playing

Four ukes in three weeks...........that is awesome, you'll fit right in around here. Glad you are having so much fun as the uke is truly a happy instrument

One never forgets their first Koloa. ;) But, oh, do we try.

Lovely family photo. I like that one photo is rather stiffly arranged, and the other is with each in various states of casual repose. Just like my family--shoulder-to-shoulder for the formal stuff, but when caught au naturale, space hogs. Lol

Welcome to the Pleasuredome, Twilo.

Greetings and welcome. Nice photo. Try low g's on that Cordoba tenor if you haven't. If that Koloa is as good as my son's, congratulations. He has Southcoast strings on it and it looks and sounds like it costs 3 times more. Some of their models have been less than sterling, but the solid mahogany bari is in a class of it's own.

Welcome and congratulations on your beautiful family. I always like seeing photos of ukes next to each other, which gives me a better sense of how they compare in terms of size and other features. If you told your wife there are other (less common) sizes like sopraninos and long-neck instruments, would she get those for you too?

Nice lineup Rob. I think you need a bigger couch in order to fit the pineapple uke, the banjo, a reso.......

Welcome to UU.
