It is not practical to only have one ukulele even as an amateur...let alone as an often paid professional. Some songs sound best with a reentrant tuning...some with linear...and some sound better when strung cuatro...even if you only play soprano. Those who say a soprano can only be tuned reentrant are certainly entitled to their own opinions, and they should keep them to their self. F-C-F-A is another tuning which might need a fourth , since strings tend to go sharp when tuned down a set or even a half step when going back from FCFA back to GCEA.
The Eddy Finn line can come professionally set up for $10.00 from the importer. I ask customers if they want it if it is a special order. The company has some instruments with a 3 year or a 10 year, or, with a LIFETIME warranty. Does Kamaka have that?
