Tapered body tenor

I've just completed two tenor ukes with the body tapered side-to-side, for a customer who wished to minimise shoulder strain while playing.

Nice Rob. (Love the sneeze at the beginning.) Linda Manzer came up with that idea some years ago. I don't know if they've caught on but I think it's a pretty good idea. I started building a boobalele a few years ago in response to a lot of chatter on uke talk about the trouble some well endowed woman have in plying the uke. Never did finish it though, it's still hanging in my shop. Yours turned out very well.
