Hi has anybody got one of these ukes. Went to my local store today and to my amazement they had a pono I was interested in buying. I had a quick go on it and was not really impressed it was ok but did not stand out. He then showed me a Uluru II Koa and it was really light and had a good tone. Has anybody got the mahagony one.
Thanks Phil.

I had one (you commented on one of my youtube videos) as i said there it was a great ukulele. Loud resonant warm tone. Lightly built for a factory build. My only problem was the soft wood finish. Very easily marked. I forgot to mention on my reply on my video that the tenor size suits me better. Possibly from being a guitar player. If you are ok with the soft finish i think you would love it.

My back again thread after returning to the ukulele with Uluru 2 and pics. http://forum.ukuleleunderground.com/showthread.php?100236-Back-again

Thanks for the thread to your post very interesting . That is how I came across the uluru nicest sounding one in the shop. I am not worried to much about getting marks on it gives it character.

Have the mahagony one on order from a local store so at least I can try it out.

Excellent. I'm sure you won't be disappointed. Looking forward to reading what you think on a NUD post!

Unfortunately it is a Christmas present so I will have to plunk away on my bruko for a while.
