I use Southcoast strings ML-SW and just restrung mine. Played them one night retuned a few times, and retuned when I took it out the next day. They have already settled. It's all I use. Love Dirk's strings. Will be truly distraught if they are unavailable. I usually have a few extra sets of them. I never pull stretch them I don't want to throw of the tone, but I know some use that method.
