Hi, I have a Martin 0 uke I purchased secondhand a while back. The problem is, there is a 11/2" separation occurring on the bottom back of the upper bout of the body.

I want to apply glue from the inside of the body through the soundhole. What glue is the best to use? Any wood glue okay to use?

Cheers guys

It is always best to use the same glue the uke was originally made with. If it were me, I would use Hide glue and don't over do it, clean up any squeeze out.

second to hide glue, but you have to know how to use it.
White glue, believe it or not, is also acceptable. It moves a little, which can be good for a crack. It also cleans up pretty easy. BUT, if you use it, you won't be able to get it out of the crack later if it separates again.
