I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this.......I can't find a sound reinforcement section.

Anyway, I'm looking to add a pickup into my concert Kiwaya........I am looking for something similar to a K&K mini pickup which would give me a natural sound.

What are you using and can you recommend me something? Tah

See this video comparing pickups mentioned often here on the forum. They include Mi-Si, LR Baggs 5-0, and K&K.

Of the ones demoed in that video, I'd be interested to hear which one you thought best.

I like the K&K Twin Aloha, the Island big spot and the Misi. I would be very happy with either.

For my tenor, I would go Twin Aloha into my Orchid muting DI box.........I also would love to go Misi, but I'm not a fan of undersaddle, so that option is out the door.

For my Kiwaya concert I would go with the Island Big spot also through my Orchid muting DI

I have never heard of the Misi, but I think it is just wonderful if you don't mind undersaddle. I love that natural sound of the 3

At the moment I am also looking into JJB Prestige 110 and the Artist series - Prestige 220. Have you heard of them?

I have the Mi-Si installed on my Kamaka HF-3 mainly because there's no battery to deal with, just a 60 second charge on the capacitor and you're good for several days depending on usage.
