Hello guys and girls,
I have taken up the Uke, having played flute and whistle for some years, Irish trad mainly, managed to get a used Martin Style 2M new model not vintage and loving it, also picked up and original Manuel Nunes soprano uke, label has gone but it's defo one of his, doing some restorations now, as it has cracks, I have repaired many old flutes in the past, headjoint splits and key block repairs, there can't be anything harder than removing the metal liner from a 19th century flute, especially when it's super snug and has 150 + year old shellac surrounding it, will upload some pics before and after of the Nunes.
all the best Mark
