OHere is the Song I composed for my Grandson Max.

To my grandson Max - An original song on Ukulele for my grandson.

Played on a High G Blackbird Clara Ukulele and a BeatBuddy Drum Pedal.

Here are the lyrics:

To my dear grandson Max

There's a newborn we call Max
Who as tiny as he was,
His eyes shined from the start,
Like two bright little stars

We're gonna watch you grow,
As you become a man.
You'll travel far and wide,
As you fill us all with pride!

Bridge

Oh dear Max,
You're a wonder to behold!
To cradle in my arms,
As you fill my heart with joy!

Oh dear Max,
You're a wonder to behold!
To cradle in my arms,
As you fill my heart with Love!

Instrumental

There's a newborn we call Max
Who as tiny as he was,
His eyes shined from the start,
Like two bright little stars

We're gonna watch you grow,
As you become a man.
You'll travel far and wide,
As you fill us all with pride!

My dear grandson Max,
I wish you happiness,
A life time full of love,
Cause you deserve it all!

Couldn't help hearing "The Ballad of Jed Clampett" in my head. :D But what a nice thing to do for your grandson!

I once wrote a setting for a Lewis Carroll poem. Then a friend pointed out that it was very similar to the Union Pacific jingle.

I have new friends now.

Nice! Enjoy that grandson! You earned it! :shaka::shaka:
