New to ukulele, new to forum! I am need of some buying help :D So many to choose from, and from what I've seen, the list in my title is in basically in order of cost. I live in Nairobi, no ukes for good prices here, so I'm buying sight unseen. I'll need a good case (more solid is good, but not necessarily a deal breaker), and tuner and extra strings. Do you good folks see any good deals / packages for any of these? If it were up to you, which one of these 5 would you choose, based on tone, looks and feel? Thank you so much!

Thanks both of you. Anyone else want to weigh in? Amahi fans? Luna? Would love some more input. Am thinking about mimsukes as my dealer. Thoughts?

Same as above. For myself, I'd probably switch The Islander AT4 with the Ohana TK20-s just because I like Mahogany over Acacia. I wouldn't even consider a Amahi or Luna from the ones I've played in music stores. May have been because they weren't set up. I like Mainland, Ohana and Islanders in that price range.

If you are going with Mims you are all the way to being properly uked and happy. She will steer you in tth right direction and your uke will be professionally set up, this means a LOT!!!

Not too many Amahi users or threads here. Go with what Mim suggests and what you love the look of, it can be that simple.

Yes, I would stay away from Amahi's or Luna's.
