Any advice when buying a Kala baritone not seen as distance is too far to view before buying. Are they consistent with the action. The one I have my eye on is second hand but the seller knows nothing about height of strings etc.I bought an Ohana once new an the action was way too high out the box so I'm a little wary.Thoughts would be welcome.

I'd hurry and grab the one in the Marketplace if you want a Kala solid mahogany bari. I have the tenor version, and the strings are relatively low and easy to play. Sanding a fraction of a mm or so off the nut and saddle not rocket science anyway.

If you can't find the uke you want here, consult with Mim's Ukes.
