Can anyone tell me how an electric uke sounds would differ from an electric tenor guitar tuned to gcea?
Can anyone link me to any videos of electric tenor guitars tuned to GCEA?

I can't really answer your question other than to say that I think a baritone ukulele is more of a direct comparison to a tenor guitar than a tenor ukulele (I could be wrong however).

I suggest you use Youtube to listen to the differences, but basically a guitar is steel stringed therefore 'twangy' compared to a uke that is nylon strung which will sound like an amplified accoustic, unless you are talking of a solid bodied electric uke which would use steel strings, & therefore sound a bit 'twangy' like a guitar but in a smaller package.

If you're talking a bout a steel-string electric uke (say, tenor) tuned GCEA vs an electric tenor guitar tuned GCEA, I would guess the sound wouldn't be all that different--maybe more sustain?

But there would be a big difference in playing them. With the tenor guitar, your fretting hand would have to do a whole lot of stretching.
