Love that song, especially Toms version.
My father in laws retirement party was a big fancy event. I had recently had a child and hadn’t been drinking for a couple of years while pregnant and nursing. We rarely went out, so when this event happened I decided it was time to cut loose and have a few. I requested this song, drug my hubby out on the dance floor and proceeded to do the nasty dance with him. It was awesome.
I’m sure my mother in law is still mortified.

Sad to read about Huey Lewis' hearing problems. After our discussion earlier in the week about tinnitus I contacted my doctor - I have an appointment for a hearing test and tinnitus consult with audiology in early June.

Although we missed most of the winter weather while we were away, it apparently isn't over yet. We're expecting accumulations of up to a half an inch of ice this afternoon and evening.
