still not sleeping well
Or I only need 5 or so hours of sleep these days. But I'm awfully tired later in the afternoon.

Today James plays a jamboree with the bad team.
I hope he doesn't play down to the level of the other kids like he did last time. He and one other kid named Jake should be able to take over for the team but last time they both stopped trying to score, it was weird. I'm hoping he has a really good game to boost his confidence and connect him to his teammates a little more. He and Jake are the only two fifth graders on the team. The rest are fourth and three of them are really bratty kids that he doesn't like. There aren't enough fifth graders to set the tone.

The weather guy said we were going to get a coup!e of tenths of rain today. So far we are showing two inches in the rain gauge.

The Notre Dame game is just starting, low forties, wind and rain. It's an hour east of us.
We leave for Florida five weeks from yesterday. I could easily have gone a month ago....

It’s supposed to be hot on thanksgiving. That news make me cranky, although we don’t have anything planned.
