I think teacher pay scales are public record. Most districts have them on their site somewhere. Buried probably but it's there.
Off to James' back to school night.

He's got a second year teacher. She looked like a deer caught in headlights poor thing.
Parents started asking her about their individual students so I bailed her out.
"I know you've only had our kids for a few days and you're still getting to know them but would it be alright to email you if I have an individual question?"
She sent me an email last night thanking me for making that comment.
