Hi everybody, new to the forum. Just trying to gather as much information as I can and hopefully become a half way decent player. Just bought a Kinnard tenor. The fact that I love it and can't wait to get home from work every day to practice should help. -eric

Welcome. You're on the right road, practice, practice, practice. Many members of the seniors group I'm with only play when we meet, never at home, and I provide a web page with all our songs that I record when we meet to give them an incentive. Oh well.

Welcome from sunny Arizona! Great uke to start with

Aloha Kakahiaka! Strummer, maybe just above the 3 chords level, trying to "pick " up after loose strings for about 15 years. Bought my Baritone at the Kamaaka factory back in the 70's.

You bought a Kinnard as a starter ukulele? Wow. He is a fine builder. You are certainly getting started on the right foot.
Welcome aboard!

Luke

ThanKs for the welcome Ifoo, I have had other Ukes in the past. The Kinnard is definitely my favorite. There are so many great builders, it's a tough decision. -eric
