Aloha Oahu ukulele enthusiasts!
If you would like to kanikaplia (come play music) with the current Ukulele Guild of Hawaii president - none other than ukulele legend and all-around nice guy Kimo Hussey - please stop by the Microsoft Store on the second level of Ala Moana Center in Honolulu tomorrow, Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 3:30pm.
We hope to play some Hawaiian songs for about an hour or so.
All ability levels welcome!
Bring an ukulele and come join us please!

Hope to see you there!

Sounds like a good time. I wish that I could be there. Play a song for me please.

Do it Island style.

All are welocime! Please stop by if you are in the neighborhood.
Heck, even if you aren't in the neighborhood, come on down! :D

It went very well, we had A LOT of fun!
I did not take any pictures or video, but I did see a couple on the Ukulele Guild of Hawaii Facebook page.
I am sure we are going to do it again, and we hope it becomes a regular thing!

I believe there's another one in HNL scheduled for Nov sometime. One of our STRUM Founders,
Chontel Klobas, is planning on being there and also joining the Thurs, Sun night Kanikapila
behind the Police Station on Waikiki, near the surfboard rentals.

Please say, "Hi" if you happen to see her. :)

Will do Uncle Rod!
I am actually part of the Ukulele Guild of Hawaii now, so I will likely be at all of these events.
And yes, you are correct, there will be another kanikapila at the Ala Moana Microsoft store on November 17.

I generally play for the Aunties who make paper leis at the Makai Food Court near
Aja, Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Cinnabon and Honolulu Cookie, when I'm in HNL.
Next time will be Summer 2017, Lord Willing :)

hopefully, the Kanikapilas will be continuing (due to a lot of interest and participation),
so that I'll be able to join in sometime. :)

I need to sing and play with you more often, Pueo!

keep uke'in',
