Hey Mister Banker, how do you sleep
D7 C G
Stealing millions in bonus as the poor starve n’ weep
G C
You fund all the despots, help governments at war
D7 C G
History is repeating, we’ve been here before
G C
Compassion costs nothing but you sold off your soul
D7 C G
Politicians your puppets in your quest for control
G C
You can cheat us and rob us and lie to our face
D7 C G
But my pennies I will keep them away from your safe

G C
The 'I' generation is all that I hear
D7 C G
Sayin’ 'I’ve got that, I want that', but you have no Idea
G C
Greedy consumers all want the new stuff
D7 C G
Food and a bed would be good for those sleeping rough
G C
Keep all your gadgets, designer clothes too
D7 C G
This modern world clearly hasn’t a clue
G C
Spending millions on fireworks, false idols on thrones
D7 C G
Celebrity gossip and sheep made from clones
G C
But wouldn’t it be better to help the sick and the poor
D7 C G
The homeless, the old and the victims of war.
G C
So Hey Mister Banker, how do you sleep
D7 C G
Stealing millions in bonus as the poor starve n’ weep.
