I've started a couple of specialist threads for other ukes, so I thought I'd start one up for this combination of scale & size.
(All are welcome to post here.)

I have an Ohana CK35L, solid mahogany, (tenor scale, concert body), & am finding it very good, especially size wise, as I seem to have problems with a regular tenor shape. :)

I have a Mainland long-neck concert pineapple all-solid mahogany.

That is TENOR scale, CONCERT pineapple body.

You can see/hear it in my video for Season 233 here (which YOU hosted Keith :)):

I was looking at one of those, but at £240 compared to £152, I went with the Ohana, plus I'm not sure that I like holding the pineapple shape, I have a Kala soprano pineapple that I haven't used much at all. ;)

All my ukes have a strap in the form of a round nylon boot lace, similar to paracord, but way cheaper @ $2 USD for a pair of 72cm laces, so holding it is not a problem, but lots of times, if I'm just noodling, I forgo the strap since when I lean back in a chair the belly acts as a nice shelf to hold the uke in position....

I've not yet had the pleasure of playing or owning an Ohana, but they are on my list to try. :)

I'm with Booli. Fit a strap. You can get strap buttons on ebay pretty cheaply and they're not difficult to fit. Then you can either buy a strap or make one out of boot lace as Booli does. I buy straps from ebay. Their are a variety of sellers on ebay with straps from about four quid up. If you don't want to fit a strap button, there are straps that hook into the sound hole or you can buy a uke leash from Lori. She is a member of ukulele underground. Here's a link to her online store: http://www.ukeleash.com/ She's very prompt and they come in a few days from the USA

I started out with a uke leash and then fitted strap buttons. On my sopranos, I bought strap button adapters for the uke leash. On my larger ukes I've bought straps off ebay.

Oh, it's not really down to fitting a strap, I could easily do that, I fit a single button on the heel & use a lanyard type, if I use one at all, I've just not got on with the shape for some reason. :)

I find I really like my long necked versions of all my sizes..I have a long necked soprano, two long necked concerts, and a long necked tenor. All are made with Mainland necks, and for some reason they seem to work well for me.
I do find that the sound is determined more by the tuning and the size of the body, than the length of the scale. If I get a chance I'll snap of picture, and add to my post. The long necked tenor is my favorite of my DBGE scaled instruments.

If you would like to post pics, please do. :)

P.S. What scale length is your long neck tenor?

Edit: If you saw the previous version of this answer, I blame it on old age. ;)
