Just wanted to say hi to everyone. I'm Ken, or "Kenny Wayne" (the builders name I use to build Cigar Box Ukuleles under the Kentucky Mojo name). I am a musician of over 38 years, playing guitar, bass, drums, piano, harmonica and UKULELE! I have been playing the uke for about 5 years steady now, every since I got burned out on guitar from playing a weekly gig in church as a Worship Leader. I have recorded a couple of CDs under the Name Dj Schmee J, and on ReverbNation as Kenny Wayne 4. These days I find myself making my own instruments after my wife said I couldn't buy any more guitars! She never said I couldn't build them. I like to build quality cigar box instruments from vintage and new cigar boxes. I take pride in my builds, as each one is uniquely thought out and built to highlight the original box artwork. Each one is different, but they are all my babies and each one is made to go out into the world to bring joy to the new owner!
