Trying to be good this year.

Like you I want to concentrate more on the practicing and playing aspect. That said it did take me many ukes to figure out what I REALLY like and that was fun too.

You would't use a hammer drill when you need a drill press. So, why play a soprano when you need a tenor?
Not that you couldn't, but you probable wouldn't play Beethoven on a banjo.

I can say that. I haven't bought a uke since 9/2015, but did buy a flute this past Sept. I play and practice well and often, mostly via songwriting, performing and/or attempts at both. So I'm not buying and I enjoy what I have. But not to worry, I have other issues that are far beyond the scope of this thread! And I just finished a song whose hook is, "we can exercise our right to try again."
