No alternative facts. No fake news. could have been a Trickster Trump song.
Hello wee ginga yin,
Gimme Some Truth is particularly topical with a general election coming up in the UK and I'm interested in trying to play Lennon's song. I've seen guitar chords using D, F♯m , D7, G, A, C, B♭ but wonder what you have found that works on the ukulele and if you have produced your song by ear or if you have written down tabs or chords for it?
C# (full C 3345 up to C# 4456) That full C (3345) can slide down to Bb and up to C# so that makes it easier to play. In the original the capo
was on the 3rd fret and the key was in F. I just transposed it so I could play it straight.
Code:F Am F7 I'm sick and tired of hearing things from uptight, short-sighted narrow-minded hypocritics A# C All I want is the truth A# C Just gimme some truth F Am F7 I've had enough of reading things by neurotic, psychotic, pig-headed politicians A# C All I want is the truth A# C Just gimme some truth D# No short-haired yellow-bellied son of Tricky Dicky's gonna mother hubbard C# soft-soap me with just a pocketful of hope G# A# Money for dope, money for rope

Thanks for clarifying your title. I was pretty sure it was "The Crooked Hilary" song. Why are snide political comments ok on this forum? I thought we were about ukuleles, not politics or religion.

Always been one of my favorites. John was surely the genius of his (my) generation.
(No need to include trump. He is a son of tricky dickie.)
If everybody wanted peace instead of another TV, then there would be peace.
