What size for traveling?

Buying a ukulele specifically to bring to Hawaii?

If I were ever to go to Hawaii, I would consider buying an ukulele there, even if I don't need more ukuleles.
Just to have one I purchased in Hawaii. Not bringing one is the perfect excuse to buy one...

My thoughts exactly! It's a good excuse to buy a new ukulele. I'm leaning towards the Kala travel tenor for size and price but if something more attractive pops up I'd be willing to spend more. Just a few more months to go!

If you've gone to the trouble of getting your travel ukulele setup I can see the sense of taking it along instead of buying one there. Also, if you are going to the Hawaii you should probably buy a Hawaiian hand made instrument instead of a factory made ukulele from some random location is Asia...
