Season 268 - Won't You Ask a Question?

Rob has got us of to a fine start with his beaut version Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow?
I think this week i'll just put all the comments on your YouTube videos rather than duplicating them here as I usually do.
I'm going to sneak in a vid here as I usually do at the beginning of each season.
This 'original' has a very 'wayfaring stranger' sound about it which was not intentional but which I wouldn't like to have to defend in a court of law ....

Is affection pertinent?

What's Love Got To Do With It?

Jeopardy theme! Your answer must be in the form of a question.

I like this notion! You have 2 minutes 22 seconds to answer this question. Answer at end of video. Who is the Patron Saint of Beer?

If you depart can I accompany you? = If You Leave Me Can I Come Too?
For what reason? = Why?

I think you should be pretty safe. Wayfaring Stranger is in the public domain - though you never know, there was a lot of copyrighting traditional songs in the 1920s and '30s :eek:ld:

I hope someone does "What Are The Names Of The People Who Allowed The Domestic Quadrupeds To Leave?"

Jim Horne Song.

Sitting by the roadside
houses tumbling down
all around
Distant guns fire
bounce the ball off the wall
its not real at all
yesterday seems so far away
we had a family
and good things to say
corner shop for cigarettes
run home one day
its all swept away
Who took today
who took today
we never even looked their way
they took it all away
Sitting by the roadside
houses tumbling down
all around

Thanks for including the link to Jim's powerful song Rob.
Here it is again.
Sure hope people give it a listen and maybe a comment ....

In lots of places on this earth there ain't much time or inclination for ukulele playing ........

BTW! All feel free to give me some clues to some question songs ...... if I can't get them someone else will ......

Here's a few, apologies for any duplicates...

Should I remain or depart?
Why isn't your affection for me the same as it formerly was?
Perhaps we should try it in the thoroughfare?
By what are you called?
What a shame! (not Fats Domino)
Do you know the directions to St. Joseph?
Is there any reason you and I can't be amicable?
Is she actually on a date with that guy?
For what period of time has this been happening?
What's happening?
In what location would I find the blooms?
In what manner do you fix a shattered biological pump?
Do you wish you had some company this evening?
Is it your opinion that I'm very attractive?
What degree of indigo can you achieve?
Who feels remorse at the present time?
For what reason do I continue to remain here?
Have I recently expressed my deep affection for you?
