I bougth this concert ukulele a month ago, and I am not disappointed despite my high expectations http://www.maestroguitars.com/product/uc-ir-s/
Maestro is a small but fine manufactory in Singapore, who build guitars and ukuleles on a high level. To buy such un ukulele is a good deal, because they are really underpriced.
I like the traditional wood cobination, spruce/rosewood so I choosed this model. (The dolphins of abalone are an eyecatcher, but were not the reason for my decision)
This serie of ukuleles "Island Series" comes with some special features:Of course solid tonewoods, radius freatboard, soundport, 8-hole bridge and a special ultra bracing system.
12 frets to the body, I like that, so the ukulele is shorter and the bridge is well proportionated. (often ukuleles has 14 frets to the body)
