Intonation check what to do? expensive uke not OK?

New AIERSI resonator ukulele sounds to sharp in 1 fret on all strings, I use tuners and compare with aonther uke. Should I return the reso-uke - it has killer sound but frets are not OK tuned methnks

If it's sharp on the first fret then the nut slots probably aren't deep enough. A little careful filing should solve your problem.

Very helpfull the nut looks wrong on one side, as if neck and nut is not really done properly, should I return it or try to fix this ? Looking very closely there is a gap:

Personally, I wouldn't worry too much about that - you most likely just need the grooves where the strings sit to be a little deeper. There's a video to walk you through that here:
