    Default Nylgut Bridge

I was driving over the Zakim Bunker Hill bridge in Boston today. The cables reminded me of Aquila Nylgut strings. Guess I have ukes on the brain? It is a beautiful bridge though, especially at night, when they change the strings to Aquila Reds!

We have a similar design in Sydney, Australia. They used Fremont Blacklines on this one.

    Hmmmm
I have driven over the Zakim on many occasions and never made the connection.
In hindsight I certainly agree with you.

I think the center of a black hole in outer space looks like a soundhole, and train tracks look like fretboard.

Now I'm keeping my eye out for a bridge that uses a wound low G.
