Hello all! My name is John and I have about 4 months under my fingers. Never played a string instrument before. And this year is the year of learning new things for me. I started plinking around on my daughters soprano and challenged myself to learn. Also wanted to keep the cobwebs out of this 44 yr old brain!!
My first uke is the Kala KA-ACP-CTG.

As old Justin Wilson used to say, "How you'all are?" Glad you joined us. Play any of those Cajun tunes? Lots of cool strumming patterns for them.
 
@philusafret Not yet with the Cajun tunes! I haven't even looked into any Cajun songs to learn. I'll put that on my list. BTW I was also in the AF stationed at Offutt AFB...

Stationed in Mississippi, Okinawa, Georgia (Turner AFB/SAC), Illinois, Oklahoma, Panama, Thailand, England, Florida, and Texas (not necessarily in that order)
