Is this a good price for a vintage Martin?

Now had my Martin been in pristine condition, I would think twice about the modifications required for UPTs.

That was basically what I was thinking. I've since tweaked the tuners a bit and they are much better to use now. Still a bit stiff when you change strings with all the winding, but maintaining tuning once up to pitch they operate quite nicely.
