Do you use high-G/reentrant or low-G/linear tuning exclusively?

I use both. Just as I think I've decided which I prefer, I change my mind.

Some pieces work best re-entrant, some work best low G.

My preference is reentrant. As others have said above, it's just what a ukulele sounds like. I do however have a tenor in Low G. Glen Rose recommends it for his jazz and Bossa, lessons and arrangements and I have to agree. The extended range allows nice voice leading and common tones in jazz chord changes, especially in the bass. But, that's all I use Low G for. Most of my ukulele playing isn't that stuff, rather 20s and 30s classic American songbook / vaudeville songs. High G is the way to go for that stuff IMO.

Just curious... Does the size of the ukulele play a part in what tuning you choose?
Low G on a tenor as opposed to a soprano, for example? Vice versa?

I use low G for two reasons, I like the tone more than high G, & it gives me the extra notes for picking tunes.
I have owned sopranos with low G too, as well as having long necks now with low G, both concert & tenor scale.
But, I think if you are mainly a strummer, you may like having a high note at each end of the strum.
