This is a guitar but this will be what the Charity uke shall look like.

If you don't know about the charity uke project, it is 6 world class luthiers EACH donating a ukulele made from the Tree Mahogany and Lucky Strike Redwood top. These 6 ukes will be auctioned in, I think, November 2017.

Check it out here

Bravo, Beau, for both your contribution to the project and for the nice work itself!

My sincere thanks to Corey Bergman for his leadership of this wonderful program and to the selfless luthiers that are participating. Thanks, Beau, for the preview of the beautiful instruments that will rock the ukulele world later this year.

What a very cool thing for you folks to be doing! The wood on that guitar looks spectacular.

Great gesture, beautiful work. The group I'm with, The CC Strummers out of the Culver City Senior Center, has been supporting Corey Bergman and The Ukulele Kids Club for months by donating to the organization towards the UCLA/Mattel Children's Wing Music Therapy program. We do regular gigs there, including presenting the ukes to children for whom we play. It's a very gratifying experience.

I will announce this special project, Luthiers for a Cause, to our members list of about 200 so we all have the opportunity to participate.
