Is Karadoo Composites defunct? (carbon fiber ukes in Thailand)

Anyone heard from the fellow at Karadoo Composites? He had some cool uke designs for quite reasonable prices, but his Facebook hasn't been updated since 2013 and his blog not since the Tahi solar year 2555, which Google tells me is also 2013.



If he's no longer active, is there anyone else making affordable CF ukes overseas? As the internet has spread, I've seen a real uptick in people building cool stuff in countries with a low cost of a living who offer very competitive prices at reasonable quality, and I like supporting craftspeople in developing countries. I still aspire to get a specific obscure type of oud made by a guy in Burkina Faso who's got a great online presence...

This post says the owner died in 2014 (maybe 2013).
