    Default New from Utah

Hi! I'm Jon. I first tried to learn ukulele back when I was living in American Samoa for a little while, but it didn't really stick.

I recently got back into it when my uncle got an ukulele for his grandkids to play with when they come over and he's playing the guitar. I'm over there frequently and started playing it a bit. I managed to pick up an Alvarez AU70C for next to nothing, and it's making learning a lot easier compared to the other ukes I've played on.

Anyway, I've lurked here for a bit, and will probably mostly just lurk in the future, but I wanted to say hi to everyone!

Welcome to the forum, and if you're in Utah, you should check out Acoustic Music in downtown Salt Lake City. They have an eclectic mix of ukes, and I've always found them good to work with.
