Elderly is such a cool store to visit....I've never been in a music store quite like it....layed out in an old house type building with several rooms and floors....instruments...new and used...a repair shop room right inside...a library of music instruction books and cd's and clothes.. When I was a freshman at Michigan state university'in East Lansing, first year students couldn't have a car on campus...so we walked every where. Elderly was too much of a hike to walk to..so I rode the city bus to within 3'blocks of the store......I never rode the bus to anywhere else!. To this day...when I travel up to Detroit to see family from my current residence in Louisiana...I always try to make a side trip to Elderly in Lansing.
