Hello from Houston, Scotland

Never played any musical instruments in my life till one of my "friends" bought me a ukulele (completely out of the blue) as a 60th birthday present. Had it 6 months now and love it. Not vey good at playing it, but I do think I'm getting a bit better and hopefully that will continue.

Have joined my local group in nearby Lochwinnoch (with the wonderful name of the Small Fezzes!) and we strum away every Wednesday.

Hopefully, I'll pick up some good tips on ukes and playing on this site and I look forward to being a member.
