Good Afternoon, UU.

After a few weeks of deliberation — seven, in case anyone really wants to know — I've decided to sell my Pono Baritone Nui.

I thought I had UAS pretty much figured until these came around, and although it gave my Favilla baritone a good run for its money, I think (read: I hope) this is the right call.

Mine is the no frills all mahogany model, which has the satin finish, and a quick word about that: I'm biased toward satin finishes in general, but I think Pono does a particularly great job. Theirs is a smooth, fast neck and a very responsive body.

This one came from HMS, so the setup is excellent. Here's a link with some pertinent info, specs, etc. http://http://www.theukulelesite.com/pono-pro-classic-mahogany-baritone-nui-bn-2.html

Finally, here's a sound sample, (which you should please refrain from comparing to Corey's!):

$450 gets this shipped to your door CONUS (PayPal, please), but I love trades, so if you have a sopranino — EG KoAloha Noah, BB, Loprinzi — that isn't getting enough love, that would work. If you have something else that's cool, give me a shout.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

Thanks, UU!

What an interesting and cool sounding instrument. Very Martin-all hog-guitar sounding, reminds me of a 000-15S I sold years ago.

This is a very good price for an excellent - and very special - instrument. If you are looking for a guitar-like sound with only four strings, this is it. I have one from the first batch and love everything about it. Good luck with the sale!
