Hey all,
I can't believe that no one else has posted this...please let us know when there are larger ukulele events...you never know when someone might make the trip!
This coming weekend is the Silver Creek International Ukulele Carnival. It is hosted by the Twin Harbors Ukulele Club, and is about 1/2 hour North of Duluth. Housing can be a bit of a challenge at this point of the summer...but if you are anywhere within driving distance, consider making the trip. It is a day filled with workshops and playing, as well as a Mass Ukulele Group number. Cost? Free...but you do have to plan for food (I think the food truck on Saturday is open to all, but the large group meals asked for reservations).

There is another ukulele event on the horizon in Minnesota, the Harvest Jam, in November with Lil' Rev as the ukulele headliner.
