Try not to buy your Ukulele as some sort of exercise in amenities and bling. I know this may be difficult since your are a beginner, but as they have given you the time to reflect, then reflect on how you want to play. Strum, sing, play melody, some combination of these?
If you're not sure at this point, then I'd actually buy (and maybe later try to sell or gift) some cheap instruments to give you an idea of what size and sound best suits you. Take your time on this! Once that's nailed down, then start thinking about secondary things like woods and amenities.
