Great idea for making an electro-uke like that!

Such an instrument would give the player lots of inspiration to draw from for songwriting...

Also, gives an excuse to use the lathe and the CNC machine even more during the build.

Yes. Stop stalling, Get the lead out and start making.
Just dont make any mistakes or you might start using colourfull language which you may have to stub out. I feel drawn to it myself.
